Spring Florals with Essie Silk Watercolor Kit

Hello lovelies!

A while ago, my awesome friend brought three beautiful jellies with her from The States - the Silk Watercolors Kit from Essie! These are the cool-toned colours. I loved how they looked together and it has a teal one! So I started playing. This is one of the manis I did with it!

I started with a base of the accompanying white base polish that you'll find in the kit - White Page. This is sort-of-opaqueish in 2 coats, it's not great, but does the trick for this kind of mani.

Then I used the stamper smooching technique to create a sort of marbled watercolour effect. The three jellies in the kit are Highest Bidder (red) Pen & Inky (teal) and Point of Blue (blurple).

Then I stamped with BPS white stamping polish and BP-L029. I sealed it in with some SV. Easy peasy, apart from all the clean-up, lol!

What do you think of the smooching-stamping combo?

    1. Basically, you apply some little drops of different colours onto your stamper and then you smooch it onto your nail, preferably over a white base. It is messy, but easy!
