Once in a blue half moon

Hello lovelies!

I've been MIA for a while and I apologise! I was super busy, then I got sick and then I was busy again, so I just didn't feel like blogging. It happens sometimes. But I am back with a cool mani!

I started with a base of Joss "Flash Diamond", 2 coats, and then stamped on an image from BPS "Kaleidoscope" stamping plate, BP-L004 and Laushine black stamping polish. Then I painted white half moons with white acrylic paint, which failed. Then I put on some white nail polish, that was better. After that I painted the half moons blue with Essie "I'm Addicted" and outlined the curve with a black striper. Then I used a bit of "Flash Diamond" and a striper brush to paint a holo silver line.

This was a lot of work, lol! But in the end it was worth it, although I wish my stamping was a bit more straight, lol! Well, at least I consistently stamp at the same wrong angle, haha! What do you think about this mani?

  8. In inspiration of all I am seeing here, I have ordered a stamping set and some plates, and look forward to finding out how to use them with tutorials and everything! Got a bit more equipment too, so maybe I can try some of the designs I see on here.

    1. Let me know if you need any tips, I'm not an expert yet, but I have gotten better at it! And be sure to have a lint roller ready, for cleaning your stamper :)
