The Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art - Lotus

Hello lovelies!

So I'm still a day behind, and I won't be able to catch up, so on day 4 I present you day 3 of The Digit-al Dozen Redoes Art! Keeping in tune with my floral theme, I decided to think back to when flowers first appeared in art (art which has withstood the sands of time and is widely known). So Egypt and their blue loti sprang to mind!

Again I took my detail brush and a few polishes. I started with a base of LynBDesigns "Fishing With No Bait". Then I painted the flowers with Rimmel "Black Out", "Bestival Blue", W7 "Spearmint" and Ya Qin An mint stamping polish.

This was harder than it looked! I sometimes have a hard time translating thought into, uhm, art ;)

Don't forget to take a look at the other ladies' designs!

  2. Ohh these flowers are so neat! I've never attempted anything like that before, but I think that needs to change soon.

  4. Ah, the glittery gold makes me think of ancient Egypt, and then I love what you have done with that blue. It's epic <3
