The Digit-al Dozen's Stamping Week - Marble

Hi lovelies!

I wasn't able to post yesterday, because I haven't been feeling well for the past few days. I wasn't able to do my nails for two days and I slept all evening yesterday, so no post and today I'm going to have to pull something from the vault! I did this manicure last summer, hence the still-square nails.

One of the wonderful things that you can stamp, besides patterns from plates, is a marble! This technique is very simple, but looks intricate. Very fun!

The base colour is P2 "Cosy Home". I used The Nailasaurus' technique, like in this manicure, but with pink tones this time! For the marble pattern I used Essence "Discover My Secret!" and Broadway "Ultra Violet" and "Easter Annie", the latter two of which were sent to me by my friend Donna! On my ring finger I created a negative space half moon and a silver wedge with Essie "No Place Like Chrome". I sealed it all in with SV.

I just did my nails for tomorrow's post and I went all out, it took ages, so I hope that will make up for skipping yesterday's mani. Please send me some sunlight for good pictures, because I need to go to work all day, so I don't have time to run out at any given moment!

I'm now going to see what the other DD ladies did (see the links below). But I'm wondering, did you ever try this marble technique? Do you have colour suggestions for me for future marbles?

    1. Thank you <3
Oh yes, it may be less spectacular than your amazing drip marble technique, but it is way faster ;-)
And thank you! I hope you'll feel better soon too!
