Hello lovelies!
I'm back with a preview of the scrumptious upcoming After Summer Collection by Ms. Sparkle:
This collection is perfect for those like me, who can never get enough of summer. I mean, the heat is horrible, but I love the heaps of sunshine and the long days. And that sunshine will be accentuated by wearing these gorgeous shades! The red, aqua, yellow and purple polishes are jellies with aurora shimmers, holo micro flakies, unicorn flakies and iridescent/matte/holo glitters. The pink, slate blue, green and orange jellies contain ucc flakies instead of unicorn flakies. All polishes are opaque in 2-3 thin coats and apply flawlessly. They need some top coat to bring out the sparkles to the fullest, so all glossy photos shown here are with one coat of Seche Vite. The matte versions are topped with Essence "Matte to Meet You". Let's begin:
Twisted by the Pool
It was hard to capture the insane sparkle that comes off of this one, I tried by photographing out of focus:
And even mattifying it won't make it stop shining!
Lush Life
In the sunlight, the sparkle is intense. In indirect light, the unicorn flakies are mesmerizing! Wore this for a few days and while biking it was hard to keep an eye on traffic; I kept staring at my hands...
Golden Sun
This bright yellow is so cool! Sparkly in sunlight and magical in the shade, this one certainly brightened up my day!
Late Night Alumni
Like a summer galaxy, swoon! So much depth!
Ever After
The UCC flakies here combined with the holo sparkle really make for a fairy tale-like effect! Kinda getting Cinderella vibes from this one and I like it! As one would expect, these look great when matte:
Moral of the Story
This beauty also has those beautiful green to red shifting flakies, combined with subtle orange microglitter and it sure gives this pink a whole other dimension!
The Weekend
Love the golden shimmer combined with the pink glitters in this one!
Journey to a Nearby Star
This must be my favourite. Purple shifting flakies in an orange jelly, full of holo... amazing! Like "Twisted by the Pool", "Journey to a Nearby Star" also sparkles insanely. And the colours are so interesting! If ever a dull moment, I recommend applying two coats of this and you'll be entertained for a few days!
This collection is soooooo my cup of tea, I love the bright colours and sparkles and shifts and shininess! Excellent for capturing those last rays of sunlight when this collection will hit the market at the end of summer.
