Freehanding with BPS tools

Hello lovelies!

First of all, DON'T FORGET THE GIVEAWAYS! They will end this night.

I'm so exhausted, I'm doing a training for work, so I'm going to keep it short.
I recently got some tools from BornPrettyStore.com that are great for freehanding! Acrylic paint in various gorgeous colours and an amazing nail art brush to apply the paint! I created this with it (please ignore the extensive shrinkage; it probably has something to do with the peel-off basecoat and the fact that I took a hot shower):

Now colour wise, it didn't turn out quite as I had hoped, but it's still a super happy manicure! My base is Celestial Cosmetics "Bright Blue Sky", a vibrant blue holo glitter polish that sparkles endlessly!

The brush is so pretty! It has diamonds in the handle and is very easy to use. It's super thin and good for detailed work.

I love that this set has all the colours of the rainbow! So I took the dark purple, pink, red, orange, green and yellow to paint on the flowers.

Unfortunately the pink got kinda orange-y. That was weird. I'm sure that not painting the pink over the purple would have left it pink. Always tricky, these paints.

You can purchase these items at bornprettystore.com and with coupon code SXDQ10 you get a 10% discount on your entire order!

What do you think? Do you like the colours I chose?

  1. I love the way the flowers seem to be floating over the glitter - like flowers floating in a spa bowl.

  2. These are beautiful! Little tip for when using a lighter color over a dark, put white down first that way the darker color(your purple) doesn't change the lighter(your pink) color on Ya :)

  10. So cool you chose a sparkly blue as your background instead of using a creme!

  11. Oh so bright colours! I wished I could free hand something. Anything really. I had bought a white acrylic paint from BPS over one year ago and it's still somewhere unopened.
