Hello lovelies!
Part 4 of 'Get to know ME!' focuses on an important detail about me, on which I have touched every now and then, during the past years: I'm Dutch!

We Dutchies are known for many things. Tulips, Rembrandt, Van Gogh, speed skating, Mondriaan, orange... I've done some of them and I certainly can't do others, but I wanted to do something cute... so I chose our famous pottery: Delfts Blauw (Delftware, Delft Blue).
For this manicure, I started with a base of Essie "Private Weekend", a subtly sparkling white creme. Then I spent half an hour browsing my stamping plates to find a Delftware sort of pattern, until I finally decided on BC-06, that looks like part of a tile. I used BPS dark blue stamping polish and sealed it in with SV.
So where are you all from? Any other Dutchies out there? I only know a few fellow Dutch nailistas, I'm curious to see whether there's more!
Now go have a look at the wonderful creations of my fellow DD dames below!
blue and white always feels so crisp and summery to me.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty! I love this pattern. :)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like china to me. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHooray, Holland! I definitely thought Holland when I saw the pattern. My sister was there several years ago and brought back a tiny souvenir with a similar pattern :)
