Hi lovelies!
More stamping with the new stamping polishes from Born Pretty Store! This time a gorgeous green metallic, that I used in an ugly sweater skittle design:

My base colour is Essence "Walk on the Wild Side", a beautiful colour that I really should use more often! Then I stamped with the metallic green stamping polish and BP-L018. The polish picked up perfectly, it is super opaque, so it is ideal. Transferring the images properly to my nail left something to be desired, I need to work on them not coming out all wonky and wiggly... But that is a problem of my technique and not of the polish or plate!
I've been testing all of BPS's new stamping polishes lately and all but one are perfection. I highly recommend picking this one up and you can do so here! Don't forget to use discount coupon code SXDQ10 at checkout for 10% off all non-discounted items!
What do you think of this mani? Any tips to counter the wonkiness of my images? Oh and if you haven't yet, check out the blue metallic here!
Love these! I have trouble getting those sweater images lined up right too, I have a nice fail post planned with one. I might have to steal your monochromatic idea when I review this polish lol.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! Perfect stamping too!
ReplyDeleteThese greens coordinate so well together. I love the stamping as well!
ReplyDeleteNope, not ugly at all! LOVE these!
ReplyDeleteThats hard when you use a soft stamper to have a lined up transfert. You should try with less pressure ;) i love the mani :)
ReplyDeleteI love this look!! The colors look fantastic and I really like the stamping images!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! That stamping polish looks so great.
ReplyDeleteLovely mani, I get wonky lines when I stamp with my squishy stamper, so maybe try a harder stamper if that makes sense? Love the green!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know this works so good. I ended up picking this one up during my haul.
ReplyDeleteLove these! What a nice look and the stamps are incredible!
ReplyDeleteHow do you hold the stamper when you actually stamp? I find pushing my nail down straight into the stamper gives me the least wonky lines.
ReplyDeleteThat stamping turned out amazing! I may have to try more Born Pretty stamping polish. I placed a big order over the weekend but didn't get this one.
ReplyDeleteI love how these turned out!
ReplyDeleteThank you girls, and thank you for all your tips and suggestions :) :) <3 <3
ReplyDeleteEveryone always calls them ugly Christmas jumpers, but they are usually pretty cool! I wanted to do Christmas themed nail art but I was at a basketball tournament and my nail broke, so I think this year I'll stick with simple colours and let my nails recover.
ReplyDeleteI love the patterning here, and the green colour choice was a good one as well! Looks epic!
it looks like a sweater!
ReplyDeleteLove this fantastically done "ugly sweater" look!
