Madam Glam Gel Polish Review

Hello lovelies!

I have an all new-to-me product to show you today and it's very exciting: GEL POLISH! I had never tried it before and I was lucky enough to be sent these wonderful polishes from Madam Glam for my first gel polish adventure. It was an excellent experience, I can tell you! I got three shades: Amour, Perfect White and Flying Purple, plus a base coat and a no-wipe top coat (which means no tacky layer after curing). These swatches were all done using the base and top coat provided. I cured each coat with a LED UV light for 30 seconds.

Let's have look at that sexy red Amour. Well if this doesn't ignite something in you, I don't know what will! It's the sexiest red ever! This is only once coat of colour, can you believe it? It applies very easily and self-levels perfectly. And it's so, so sexy...

I also really wanted a white gel polish, for nail art reasons. This is Perfect White and it does its name justice. Two careful coats was enough. I did nail art with it, but I will show that next week for The Digit-al Dozen birthday manicure. The reason I mention it now, is to let you know it works! Yay!

Last, but certainly not least, is a magical cat-eye polish called Flying Purple. This is two coats. I used a refrigerator magnet on the second coat, resulting in this double cat-eye look. Pretty neat, for a first try, if I say so myself!

Look, it's like a galaxy...

I used Amour and Perfect White combined with some Rimmel "Black Out" to paint some flowers - which could have gone better, had I had a bit more gel polish experience, lol! Not easy making that regular polish stick to the super shiny gel surface, lol! This is the result:

I used BPS's new detail brush to achieve this result.

I can't wait to try out more. I am so amazed that I was able to do this without really knowing what I was doing, it must have been the polish quality! I love it. And my friends and family are going to love it as well, because they always complain about my nail art chipping off too fast. This might just be what I needed for them, lol!

If you're in need of some awesome gel, I recommend you to take a look around Madam Glam's shop and social media!

  2. I had no idea there were magnetic gel polishes! But them again I've never tried gel myself and don't usually pay attention to them. I love the looks you created and you're right that red is sexy!
