Incidental Twin "Darling Mermaid Darlings"

Hi lovelies!

Another lovely polish from Incidental Twin is here for you! This polish was inspired by the show Pushing Daisies, more specifically the Charles sisters synchronized swimming duo "Darling Mermaid Darlings":

Well IMO this is the perfect mermaid polish. It is a "deep teal barely-crelly (almost jelly)" stunner with different sized holographic blue glitters. And yes, that includes big holo circles! My favourite kind. This is two coats with NPB Glitter Food and Seche Vite. Application is flawless!

And then of course I had to - in the words of the Say Yes To The Dress People - Jack It Up!

I used some ocean themed studs from BPS and some pearls and some other studs I had lying around for this.

What do you think of this polish? And my jacked-up nails?

You can find the polish here and all other info on Sami's stunners here:

  1. Spectacular! Both the nail polish and the themed 3D manicure!
The shade is refreshing and nice and I think it reminds me of bubble so the name is perfect for it! ;-)

  2. Wow loving those huge glitter circles, are they really chunky feeling or more foil like in consistency? I love the depth of them but my nails are fairly curved so chunkier glitter sticks up

    1. They are chunky, but the trick is to place them on a good spot on the nail and painting a little more of the jelly over them. Then you need a generous coat of Nail Pattern Boldness "Glitter Food", let that dry well (because bubbles) and then more fast drying top coat. It seems a lot of work, but it is not that bad, and totally worth it!

  3. Those charms and that base are PERFECT!

  4. I love all the baubles you used! Such a beautiful manicure!

  5. This is so cute! Also I don't have cable so this is the first time I've ever heard "jack it up!"
