Guest Post By Beltane Secrets

Hello!

I am Virginie of Beltane Secret. It is an honor for me to present to you an article here at a nail blogger I greatly admire!

Today I present a fairly simple nail art to make, very random, which just takes a little time.

I just drew geometric patterns on the color base. As my base colors, given the sunny weather we 've had here in the north of France the last two days, I chose pastel colors, and I took 5 out of the 7 bottles that make up the Marie Antoinette collection, by Lime Crime.

Pink: Perfect Day
Blue: Once Upon A Blue Mouss
Green: Pastelchio
Yellow: Crema de Limon
Mauve: Lavendairy

I must say that I still have a little trouble with pastel nail varnishes, which are often a bit thick and difficult to apply. But they make such pretty nails that I use them quite often in summer.

I drew the black patterns with Orly Instant Artist liner, and a dotting tool.
I finished with a coat of Seche Vite and I cleaned cuticles with acetone. (What I should have avoided, since my cuticles tend to be very dry at the moment, despite the fact that I moisturize daily. Since a few days I have been trying the cuticle oil from Emerald & Ash I received during a swap; I hope it will fix all this.)
No rule for the design, I did it completely random. Besides, I found the ring finger a little too heavy, too dark compared to the other four.

What do you think? Do you like this nail art?

Wooooow Virginie, I love it so much! It is so happy and funky and sweet at the same time :D Thank you very much :) :)
