Essence "Engaged" and "Yummiiii!" and BP-L026

Hi there, lovelies!

Got some more Essence pretties for you, that have just been released. And I did a bit of stamping with them and BP-L026!

But let's start with swatches. This is The Satin "Engaged", a peach pinkish nude that dries to a satin finish. Essence has had two other Satins last year and I was really sad when they were retired before I could grab backup bottles! The reason for this is that they are great fast-drying nudes that also stamp really well! I've used them a lot for nail art, especially on other people, since these colours are nice and toned down and everybody always seems to prefer that. But at least we have this one now!  This is two coats, no undies.

The second is a nice brown shimmer that reminds me of a chocolate fountain... I guess that's why it's called "Yummiiii!" This baby is a one-coater! No application issues, and it dries fast!

Now first I stamped Yummiiii! over Engaged:

And then vice versa:

I didn't top coat them, I like the matte look of the first mani and the matte stamping over glossy polish in the second! And if you're interested in this stamping plate, don't forget that you'll get a 10% discount on your entire order (excluding discounted items) with code SXDQ10 at checkout!

What do you think about these polishes? And do you like the stamping? Which one do you prefer?

  1. Both shades are really pretty! First stamping is my favourite combo!

  2. Gah, the stamping you did is so amazing!! Both looks are flawless!

  3. Oh I really like engaged! Lovely swatches and stamping manis!

  4. While I promnised myself not to grab any more Essence and Catrice shades - I basically buy them to swatch them and then always forget they exist - I might be needing that satin shade. So pretty!

  5. Engaged is so gorgeous! I know I have something similar but if I see it in stores I will probably still grab it. I am a sucker for satin finishes and nude colors.

  6. I love the stamping over each polish with the other. They pair very nicely!

  7. I am an Essence lover! So knowing that these two gel nail polishes rock? Yep, makes me happy. And the lining patterning over the pale pink polishing is lovely. It looks so intricate and delicate :3
